This is part two of a 4 part video series where we're exploring the importance of maintaining colon health and the correlation between colon health and pH balance.

In this part, David whelan and Christopher Vasey ND talk about why keeping a healthy colon is
HUGEly important to maintaining pH balance. Specifically, we're chatting about proper
and effective colon cleansing.

Not only can a toxic and clogged colon lead to acidification in your body,
but the reverse is true as well. An acidic body can lead to a toxic and
clogged colon.

Cleansing your colon and then _keeping it clean_ is one of the most
important things you can do to stay vibrant and healthy. But the colon
cleansing process must be properly sequenced in order for you to see lasting
results.

In order to properly and effectively cleanse your colon, you must give it
the right pH environment, ample raw materials and then you must correctly
use and sequence those raw materials.

To get the kind of results that you can see and feel, you must cleanse it
COMPLETELY of the following four things:

1. Compacted waste
2. Toxins
3. Harmful Microforms -- bacteria, yeasts, fungi and parasites
4. Mucosal plaque

If you don't get rid of all of this gunk properly and completely, your colon
can bounce right back into a toxic state before you know it.

Cleansing is a process and not an event. Some of you can have as much as 10
pounds -- or more -- of compacted waste in your colon, and thick, hardened
plaque underneath it.

And since you obviously can't use a brush to keep your colon clean like you
do with your teeth. So frequent and consistent cleansing is recommended.

Once you nurse your colon back to health, you'll take a huge burden off of
the rest of your body, feel great, look better, be in a better position to
maintain your general health and pH balance.

    Hi david I just wanted to know I have the phion cleanser and the detox pills I know you take the cleanser with 16 ozs of water, if i take it with 8 ozs will that be a problem? because it is hard for me to get that much water down at one time. And also for the detox pills when is the best time to take them I have candida and I just wanted to know is it okay to take them with the cleansing drink, or before I don't know because of the bentonite, it may get drawn to the bentonite in the drink.

    It's not "normal", but is not all that uncommon. It's not the detox product, it's the cleanse. Sounds like you may have a lot of built up "matter". Drink more water and think about using a systemic enzyme complex (Vitalzyme or pHion Violet) to help break-up the waste. Also, consider doing the cleanse in conjunction with a high fiber diet.

    David I have tried your cleanse product and the detox pills and it gave me horrible cramps. Is this normal? Should I just tough it out and hope the cramps go away?
