how do you do it with windows xp, i am not getting an extension once i right click on the newly converted aac then clicking on windows explorer: there is no extension in the name

Not sure what you're doing wrong. You may have multiple copies of it. Try removing older copies of it. If that doesn't work, I don't know what else to tell you.

Garageband works, yes. But if you didn't buy a new Mac with new Garageband bundled, you have to pay for the latest version. This video shows you how without paying for software.

u cant do this if u have windows vista because you cannot change the extension of the song when u rename it

Hey, ur method worked up to the syncing part. Made my ringtone 39 secs so now it shows up under the ringtones tab in my 3g, but when it finishes syncing it shows up in the ipod library and not in the sounds settings for the ringtones so like wat did do wrong, anyway I can solve this?

hey i did all the steps [windows] it gets added to the ringtones library not the playlist. and when i go to the ringtones tab it isnt there, please help bro, im using 3g
