  • Thanks for doing ...

Thanks for doing this video. I can't agree with you more about breastfeeding. I think 2 years should be the stopping point. It is so goo for the child. M daughter has been sick so few times because of breastfeeding.

  • I had sushi for ...

I had sushi for lunch the other day and felt FANTASTIC for the rest of the day. I was full but not FULL full and had energy to spare for hours and hours.

I don't know Japan's secret diet but as I think of it... they have starchy rice but no super refined sugar foods that I can think of right away. A good balance of veggies, fruits, and meat too.

Plus they all spend 38 hours a day doing martial arts ;-)

I never knew most of that stuff, even though breast feeding is what I want to do when I have a baby. Now I know how long, and why. Thanks for the information, and I love most of your videos. <3

  • Is that all that ...

Is that all that bad, or is it the fact that no one else's mother shows up at lunch period in a maternity bra -- and nobody wants to go out for recess afterwards because you haven't finished your warm milk shake yet?

    Just a thought...

  • Vitamin D is pretty ...

Vitamin D is pretty much only present in fish. The body naturally synthesizes it's own by exposure to sunlight.

Obviously, if the mother has a vitamin deficiencies she is going to pass it on to her baby via her breast milk.

That doesn't mean that breastfeeding as as system is bad, it just means the more healthy the mother, the more healthy her milk will be.

The mother could easily remedy such a deficiency as well though sun exposure, fish and supplements.

  • Why is that a dumb ...

Why is that a dumb statement? FYI, that is the tag line from yesterday's New York Time article "Vitamin D Deficiency May Lurk in Babies" by Roni Caryn Rabin. The statement is a scientific conclusion. Science does not claim to be infallible - b/c science is largely inductive - but it is the closest approximation to truth. But you obviously take a different approach to arriving at truth: God and whatever your favorite youtube channel says. Cheers

  • That is the dumbest ...

That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard... so you think "technology" and "new research" have more incite on breast feeding then... lets say GOD who designed it that way. the best thing for a human baby is human breast milk. The same was said in 1950, the best research to date suggested the formula was better for infants the rate of breast fed babies dropped to 20% Then the La Leche league was born!!!
