I was inspired by Napalm's video about shard farming (see my favourites), so I thought I would attempt to run the entire instance of RFD to shard farm without aggroing a single patrol, or group of mobs other than the bosses.

I did it, and this is the video :D

With practice you can get 3 to 5 shards in a single run taking about 6 minutes.

To get 5 shards, you need the second boss 'Amnennar the Coldbringer' to drop 2 blues (as he often does), and also you need "Ragglesnout" (the rare guy) to spawn.

During the filming of this run, only 3 blues drop, which I normally disenchant on the spot.

At the time of posting this video, the shards sell for anywhere between 10g and 15g each. I sell them in groups of 4 for the fiery weapon enchant, and they sell very quickly :D

    Weird. What makes you think that mate?

    I get 75 fps, and normally around 100ms latency, so compared to a lot of people I seem to avoid lag almost all the time.

    When you record a full screen video, it does slow down your frame rate a lot (maybe to about 30 fps), but then again, you only need 30 fps to make a movie. This video is also sped up to twice the original recording speed.

    Other than that, I'm wondering how else you can "see lag".
