Obviously none of you get it about Israel.
Now here's a little ditty about what the catholics have done for centuries to us. Sing it, Joan!

Israel certainly has a right to exist, and the attacks on it are terrible... But they would do well not to continue to settle in Palestinian land. If they were to do that, perhaps there would be fewer attacks on Israel.

if you listen to forty year old videos here....... she sounds exactly the same!! it's just amazing....

but most of all..... the lyrics plus her voice - everytime i listen to her i nearly cry...

Joody, Bob Dylan used to be with her more than thirty years ago but not Bob's son Jakob.

Ive just been to see her for the first time in concert (Tampa, Florida - even though i live in England!)She sang this song there too and with a cough and plenty of tea, but sounded fab.
Such poigniant words. She is a treasure.

Ah Joan, I love this song. Let's hope that Israel will be able to lay down its swords forever when that country feels safe from attacks on all surrounding Arab countries.

Sadly, I could hardly get a word out when I had the chance of a chit-chat after the concert.
But I've got some nice pictures.
Even one of my mum and Joan, which is funny because my mum looked incredibly like her in the 60s, but now she's put quite some weight on. So my pic looks like a slim and a big twin. :-D

The voice definitely isn't the same as 30 years ago. But I personally like it much better now, as the vibrato is not as strong as it used to be, which I think makes the voice even stronger.

I enjoyed the concert in March so much.

i saw this concert - i loved it!!!!
she's so great, she was ill and drinking tea on the stage.... but her voice is still making me shiver....

Her strong spirit and timeless voice seems to resonate just as loud and peaceful today.
