This is Scott Foster's DC-10 that is turbine powered. The plane flies great, but then from nowhere it loses control and goes in to dig a hole.

By coolfukindude [Affiliate User] 1214355224 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewhat makes you think that he wouldnt of done the same thing, just because its a right turn, either way left-right, if you turn to tight this will happen...
By flighsimer [Affiliate User] 1214341128 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeclassic spin in the base turn,to much angle in bank turn,a lot of people die like this..thanks god was a model!!
By gio31brasil [Affiliate User] 1214303660 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveOne thing to remember, these type of builds are not like actual designs which are tested for their stall behaviors...there is very little to know about how they will stall or recover, unless you're willing to take the chances of destroying the model by vigourously testing it in the air to learn the characteristics and behaviors. With that said, no one can state exactly what input from the pilot or correction could've been made to save it. Different plane, different recovery techniques.
By RicardoNY1 [Affiliate User] 1214220180 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeno i think you will find left or right hand circuits depend on wind conditions. u really dont know anything if you dont know this, and yes he tip stalled because he tried to take the turn too tight.if he made a right hand circuit as he should of then he would of made his turn with ease. reply please?
By coolfukindude [Affiliate User] 1214139323 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveLH patterns on rc fields is the standards used. What happened there is simple aerodymanics: tip stall occurred because he exceeded the bank limit of that at that particular airspeed. would happen even to a paper airplane, doesn't matter.
By b101aa2 [Affiliate User] 1214130188 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeif he had been flying correctly as in right hand circuits his final approach would not of been that of an extra 300. Basic Error by the pilot he cant be very good!

By NVanWendy [Affiliate User] 1213225247 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHow big of an engine would you need to power that thing? Where do you get the engines for these type of aircraft?
By CowboyPenner [Affiliate User] 1213132810 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removewhen the left wing stalled, the air flowing over that aleron stopped. The control imput at the time (left turn) became more powerful when only the right side control surfaces had significant control. The big mistake was after the pilot recovered out of the first steep turn. He tried to pull up to early, before there was enough airspeed to give enough lift. He pitched up immediately giving away all chance of saving the plane from its fall.
