one of my favorite scenes. Nobody set it off back in the day like RUN DMC. I saw them in concert at least three times, great performers.

is it just me or does any other girl think that run was fine in da 80s? u might think im crazy but thats what i think he was and still is cool he's da best eva i wish i could get this intro on my ipod

IN 1987 I saw them at the Griffith auditorium way down from the observatory. I was being paid $40 to drive two goons and used that money to scalp a ticket, then I had second row center! They played with Beastie Boys. May the killer of Jam Master Jay die a grizzly deathi if he hasn't already.

I was lucky enough to see RUN DMC twice back in the day. The first time was when they'd only been out a couple of years and the only hits they had at the time were "It's Like That" and "S**ker MC's". The show was at a now long-gone club called Heavens in downtown Toronto.

Anyway, when they did "It's Like That", they did the same kind of intro as they do in this clip. And the place went NUTS when the song kicked in. It was one of the high points in a lifetime of seeing live shows.

Run DEE and JMJ(RIP)..Had the best intro and incredible show....Real hip hop...

awesome!! they knew how to perform back in the day...u want to see a performance and thats what they use 2 do back then...unbelieveable!!!

This group right here: RunDMC & JMJay are prime examples of what REAL hip hop is & what ''hip-hop'' of today is missing. Funky fresh ol'skool lives forever!

i love it when it starts out and how da crowd goes wild thats sooooooooooooooo tight and run dmc was and still is the best rap group eva created rest in peace jam master jay!!!!!

i love run dmc and jam master jay(rip) run was soooooooooooooooo fine when he was in run dmc

fat laces, shell tops, addidas black suit with red stripe and a kangol.. who's 50 cent? it's like that and that's the way it will be...

Thank God for Shell Top Adidas and fat shoe laces. My first pair back in the 80's were white on white with thick ass shoe laces.... and thats the way it is !!
