Little Connie Talbot has made her recording dream come true with the release of her first single, Somewhere Over The Rainbow, on November 26. She recorded the album in her aunt's lounge. Simon Cowell promised Connie a record deal then changed his mind claiming she was too young.

    Different, but not that much better. Judy had been singing longer than Connie's been alive, to that needs to be accounted for too. Both are adorable beyond belief, and that's for certain. Connie just makes you want to pick her up and give her a HUGE hug. I just hope that her parents are saving/investing for the long haul, in case Connie's voice changes for the worse as she ages.

    I am pretty sure that you are incorrect here.Simon Cowell knew from the second he heard her sing that she would sell A LOT of albums.And do you really believe that Simon Cowell would turn down big bucks like that? Connie is adorable,she has a great voice,and a great future.
    (And regardless of what other thinks:I dont believe Simon is a bad man.Honest to the bone,a bit harsh at times:P,but not bad.If he makes a promise,I believe he will do his utnost to hold it.)

    I understand that Simon Cowell promised Connie a recording contract when she was on BGT then retracted his promise later. If this is true, SHAME ON SIMON! I would have thought that a person in his position and with his responsibility would not lie to an innocent & trusting child. Well, I guess he showed her how much she should trust the word of adults.Perhaps it was a useful lesson for her to learn early, look what happened to "child star" Judy Garland.
