    Disclaimer:

    Side effects include contrail behind the aircraft, no use of communications/radar/IR in plane, incredible amount of energy used.

    Plasma stealth...a dream theory. A power hungry system that, in theory, would surround an aircraft with ionized gas to defeat radar. Forget the fact that it would wreak havoc with the aircraft's own radar, radio communications, the generator would have to be shielded to mask its own EM output and could only be flown during daylight hours due to the ion trail. Maybe at some point in the future this will be a viable system, but not now.

    So many claims with little or no backing evidence. 1) No evidence about the claimed apparent 'huge' skin friction on the B-2's airframe. 2) Plasma stealth - ionized GAS for EM absorption sure! Though overly optimistic if you think it can be applied effectively for an aircraft that travels at high Mach numbers when you have to consider compressible flow. God you're shallow.

    Yes, they are travelling at mach... 8? 10?when they re-enter the earth's atmosphere.

    If you take a look at the B-2 you will find that it does most missions at Mach .6 ish. That isn't very much friction just so you know.

    Especially at those high altitudes where tempteratures are low.

    Let's take a look at plasma stealth technology for a second.

    First, the ionized gas that surrounds the aircraft prohibits the plane from using its own radar! No radar comes in, none goes out.

    Next, when travelling at a good speed, the shield will create a contrail behind the aircraft when it flies LOL.

    Lastly, Plasma Stealth Technology has not been proven and has not been associated with an A/C yet. It has been proven too costly and too complicated to shield an entire A/C.

    When you go higher in altitude, the temperature drops.... ok? The higher you go the colder the temperature.

    There is also less atmosphere at higher altitudes so the friction will be less up there.

    Try supplying me a website that proves you have tracked the B-2 instead of shooting of your mouth like that.

    B-2 has a reduced IR signature. That's why it has no AB's and its engines are located on the top. Educate yourself, or continue to live your bubble, your choice.
