Ripley's did a piece on the Yamakasi years ago around 2001. They are a parkour group in the south suburbs of Paris. They were the first parkour group and started off the whole parkour phenomenon but now members have left and others have joined. This clip is rare becasue I done it myself. Couldn't find it anywear.

    in 1997 these kids got together to watch some old Jackie Chan movies made back in the late 70's and early 80's. Suddenly one kid gets an idea. So then then started a club. The only thing they did invent was a made up name, Yamakasi. Which is short for "lets steal the China mans idea".
