Taking a Custom White Balance Measurement on Nikon DSLR's

I tried toilet paper, Cottonelle to be exact, the results were Disastrous.

And yes the toilet paper was unused!! grrr

of course you can, theres a preset function in the wb setting, select it from the settings menu it will ask you to take a shot of something that is white and sets its wb automatically to correct it

In all seriousness though, it shouldn't matter, as long as it's a fairly neutral white.

what kind of toilet paper are you using? this is a real question.

You can't - it does'nt allow you to tweak the white balance.
