Shock and Awe! It's truly mesmerizing watching these magnificent creatures at work. The black headed bushmaster is one of the world's most venomous and rarest snake - only one to engage in a courtship ritual before mating!)
You can see it live at the incredible Cape Fear Serpentarium in Wilmington, NC.
$8 admission (cash only!). Live snake feedings in the weekend at 3 PM.

Here are more photos and serpentarium details:

I have only school english. But it´s surprising how many mistakes can be in such a small sentence.
And the meaning will not reach me because it´s not to realize of which snake you are talking.
Anyway, the longest venemous fangs has the Gaboon Viper. They can become 5 cm long.

    Part 2
Ja, the Eastern Diamond is also heavier than the "Buschmeister". I agree too. Not such long !
But Taipan (Inland ?) is far away from the length possibility of the bushmaster.
    Black Mamba can reach it,
    perhaps ?
    But not evident till today.
I became curious if there are new acknowledges...
    Pardon for my bad English.

  • I´m only a hobby ...

I´m only a hobby zoologist in theory. I don´t have such animals at home or something.

In all reptil -literature the Bushmaster is the second longest venemous snake worldwide and longest of the New World at all.
I don´t want to speak here against your standpoint because I find much truth in it. Let´s the King Cobra by/at side: It´s THE superlative in all sizes of venemous snakes.

The Gaboon is unbeatable in weight and muscle power . Yep, I agree !

  • Third or fourth ...

Third or fourth longest, after the King cobra and black mamba, competing with the taipan for the third spot. It's certainly the longest in the western hemisphere, but not as heavy as the eastern diamondback rattlesnake. (The Gaboon viper probably beats the EDB on pure bulk and muscle though)
