Ah, but atheists DO argue right and wrong. Indeed, they argue that the actions of religious individuals are *wrong*, and that the religion that motivates them to do such things is *incorrect.*

Long tedious speeches on a moral issue is absolutely something atheists do.

And they do talk about scripture, they just talk about why they think it's wrong.

  • Another thing that ...

Another thing that might interest you concerning the Ascension of Christ.

2:11 And it came to pass, as they still went on, and talked, that, behold, there appeared a chariot of fire, and horses of fire, and parted them both asunder; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.
    (King James Bible, 4 Kings)

3:12 And no man hath ascended up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven.
    (King James Bible, John)

  • Thank you for your ...

    Thank you for your patience.

John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of him that sent me.

So despite being born into this world as a Baby, He came down from Heaven. Could He have physically have done this? No, for He grew inside Mary, as is recorded. This could not have referred to His physical form.

The Bible said He ascended into heaven. Nowhere does it say that it was His physical body, but merely that He was taken into heaven.

If you shall pardon me, this shall require some further investigation as to the answer. But have faith, it shall be found.

  • preach --verb (used ...

    preach
    --verb (used with object)
    1. to proclaim or make known by sermon (the gospel, good tidings, etc.).
    2. to deliver (a sermon).
    3. to advocate or inculcate (religious or moral truth, right conduct, etc.) in speech or writing.

Atheists proclaim the gospel of disbelief, and declare religious and moral truth to be the lack of a God. And as for sermons, they're delivered every day with the same zeal as any preacher.

Yes, thank you for that, but I'm afraid you've misunderstood me.

I am not referring to His return from the cross, but from His return from Heaven, His second coming. Can you refer me to where it says that His second coming in the end time will be definitively corporeal?

Where does it say "the physical body of christ" as opposed to the spirit? It is the same Jesus.

Furthermore, that is in direct contrast to His statements that He would come back with a different name, if there can be no differences whatsoever.

He couldn't have risen him from the dead if he hadn't died, and whosoever shall believe in him *shall not die.* Thus, no one who has ever died has believed in Christ, by the logic of absolute literalism.
