by the way to the person who posted the video its a semi-auto transmission and still has a clutch so yeah its possible to stall

Automatic Wouldn't Be Good For A Skyline.

Most people dont beleive me, but one of those where driving down my street. I went in my car chased him down and he pulled over for me and my friends to check it out. He was an Executive for nissan. Really nice guy, lucky enough to drive that car for 2 weeks. This is in OC by the way.

Listen in the video at 2m50s when the revs jump very suddenly and maintain a very even pitch for around 1.5s (launch control on) before there's a blip and it dies (not enough gas when he took his foot off the brake).

He stalled was because he wasn't familiar with the onboard launch control system.

After setting three switches on the centre console when the car is stationary, you keep the brake permanently pressed while pumping the throttle between 1/2 to 2/3. This instructs the ECU to hold the revs at exactly 4500 until you take your foot off the brake, when the car goes from 0-60 in sub 3.5s.

If, however, you don't have enough gas to maintain 4500 when your foot comes off the brake, you stall.

Simple.

Yeah I agree... Its hard to stall in an Auto. Not saying it can't happen but damn. I was suprised the guy even rolled down the window to say anything let alone RUN IT.
