Scotty, I'll bet you never realized what this simple ad would dredge up for so many. Just let me say that people like me are glad there are people like you out there that know how to post stuff like this.

Haha. I used to be at the barn that boards them during the Thanksgiving Parade in Chicago. I had a stall with a tackbox built in, and my horse was replaced by their donkey. That donkey hated me so much, so I had to put my stuff in my friend's stall that had one of the clydesdales in it. Totally freaky because he was so huge. But awesome. The horses are so friendly. I miss seeing them every Thanksgiving.

Well, I like this one and the new ones too. I think this one could be reprised very well and would work today too.

Classic melding of a jaunty tune and those magnificent Clydesdales..true showstopping ad. Most of the ads on tv today are so forgettable. Not THIS ONE!!

Those horses are beautiful! As a kid I waited just to see the commercial. Family members shouted to others in the adjacent room, "hurry come and see the Budweiser Clydesdales"! Seeing them for the first time was breathtaking! When I was older, my big sister and brother-in-law took me to the Lake County Indiana Fair as a surprise to meet the Clydesdales! I was so amazed that I cried!
I wish that I could remember their names.

Now this brings back a lot of memories, because my uncle was one of the carrage drivers!!!

I remembered this ad clearly, the jingle's really been in my head for 30 years. Thanks.

Yes I remember the one from the 50's or 60's. I use to see that every night on one segment of our news. When I'd hear the song I'd come running to the tv. Sometime's I'd wait till the horses went thru the big gate then go back to playing.

These are the kind of jingles I like to hear--not the terrible commercials I mostly hear today. I mute most commercials these days.

There are earlier ones (from the 50s and 60s). But this one is the first with "Here Comes the King"
