    It's to creep you out.

    I drive my 18y old daughter crazy by putting saran wrap over my face and inhaling. Also by holding diagonal cutters up to the web under my tongue.

    Try using a razor knife to make stabbing motions to various parts of your body. Torso? Nada. Face? More.

    Stab eyes... euhehrhr CREEPY! Also creepy are finger tips and wrists, but *not* back of hand or back of arm.

    I bet it's instinctual mammal algorithm to defend against thorns.
