MJ welcomed Shaq's first visit to Chicago with a nice shooting game. Having an injured shooting wrist, MJ practiced lefty jumpers before the game. But as usual, an injured MJ was usually a deadlier MJ. With the game close and going to OT, Horace Grant committed a crucial turnover in the last minute which made MJ's performance go to waste.
MJ did it mainly from the outside since a rookie, jumping Shaq was dominating the paint.

  • and the top 3 teams ...

and the top 3 teams might not even hold their places during the 90s era when mj won all the time. so tell me, how can be so sure that shaq is the best player in his prime of all? i guess we never know but mj has a lot of records that shaq will never come close to when mj was in his prime.

  • the ref also called ...

the ref also called only 1/4 of the offensive foul he committed. and obviously u are putting rebounding and blockshot into account. fine. but he is 7"1 and really big. it is just easier for him to get those numbers. if u started counting other things like 8+ assists, 5+steals, all of a sudden mj would easy top anyone in the league. • He did it against ...

He did it against the Blazers,Spurs,Kings year after year as the Lakers always played against the best 3 teams in the NBA. He holds records up with "ONLY" Wilt. Look im not saying Shaq is better than MJ because he is not..but for those 5 years of his prime he was the best player in history, he touched the ball in the paint it was over..not to mention the refs only call 1/4 of the fouls on his defenders. "BEST PLAYER IN HIS PRIME OF ALL" .

  • and you obviously ...

and you obviously are making shit up. when did shaq has 40+,20rebounds, 5blocks,5+assist day in and out in playoff? prove me wrong.
day in day out?you mean he consistently pulling out that number? then he must had had averaged over 40pt per game. dont lie just because you like shaq so much.shit like this is not welcome here.

  • he has better ...

he has better shooting % too. but he is not clutchy as mj, and missing ft in the important moment is very common for shaq. and if u look at the stats of their prime, jordan topped shaq in more catagories than shaq did. not to talk about the efficiency rate..

  • shaq's prime is ...

shaq's prime is better than jordan's?????????
you must be a big man worshiper or a bigman your self. come on, we are talking about versatility and overall impact to the team and the league.
shaq ft sucks and he cant dribble off the court and did fastbreak like jordan. jordan has way more assist, and steal. yea shaq is better and block shot and rebound(cont)

i would like to see shaq do some of the things that micheal did..oh, and how many championships did shaq win??jordan got 7.
how many years did shaq win the scoring title and defensive player of the year. i respect shaq but he has never done what michael did and no one will for a long time.michael was the begining of a revolution in basketball you cant beat that.

shaqs a big underachiever, its not that he didnt care about winning, its just he was lazy and didnt want to work on himself physically. he got by on his natural athleticism, like charles barkley.

i do beleive that shaq should have won mvp more than once though.that's ridiculous.i never understood why karl malone won mvp in '99.shaq should have at least 3 mvps.

  • I said Shaq in his ...

I said Shaq in his prime was better than Jordan in his prime but not overall career, I dont remember MJ having 40+points, 20+rebounds, 5+ blocks, 5+assists day in and out in playoffs, not to mention season. MVP is a popularity contest and the award has lost its respect like Shaq said, no way Shaq has only been MVP of league 1x only but its true.

you're such an idiot, michael jordan was a far better player than shaq, this is evident with a higher scoring average, more mvps, more rings, more everything and he was a 2 guard.

What record are you talking about? Stu ungar WON half of his major tournaments. It's hard enough for pros to even finish in the money in half their major tournaments.

He won the 1997 WSOP and died a year after that. I think the coke started happening in the mid 80s. Oddly enough, he started using coke so he could play more poker.
