This just proves my case about the Z06. Best super car you can get and it's under 100k. I agree on a couple comments. I'd like to see these two on a road course. I think the Z06 will give it a run for it's money.

uh i believe theres a video on here of a z06 raping a 460 on a track. and yes it is stock.

this was true till chevy came out with the zo6 it actually handles very well. the reason why the zo6 is an understeering beast is because its rwd with almost 505 hp traction limited unlike the awd r8.

ur stupid, the z06 is an american straight line pos. its an oversteering beast, americans cant build a true track beast to save their lives. And who cares about 0-60 times, anybody who knows anything about cars knows that 0-60 times tell nothing of the true performance of a race car.

Vette is dominant over all the cars in its league. Its by far the best bang for the bucks.

this race only shows who is faster in a straight line. now cornering wise... the r8 would kick the corvette's ass. period. and true... the r8 IS underpowered. it has the same engine as the rs4 which pumps out 420 horses. all in all i would have to choose the R8. hands down.

same power as z06... but more torque than a truck =)... anyway r8 is a beatifull underpower car for now... and z06 a great muscle car

Good race, but like said below, these two are in different leagues. The corvette is a pure track beast, and proved it right there by raping the R8. The zero to 60 are way different too. R8 is 4.2 and Z06 hits it between 3.5 to 3.7, that a big difference

That's an impressive motor in the vette. Too bad vette's are associated with men in their mid life crisis. Its the reason why I'll never get one. Maybe when I'm 45....

r8 wasnt made to compete w/ z06 lol they would have given it more hp like the gallardo. its made to a head turner exotic w/ good looks and sound.

The R8 is a nice (yet nonpowerful and thus slow) car, however to say it looks much nicer than the Z06 is plain ignorant.

If you ask Me, I believe the Z06 looks great! I love the lines ((and stance)) of the car.

In contrast, I think the R8 looks as anemic as it drives; it's low on the totem pole for me and the rest of enthusiasts.

I can't wait to see the mighty C6 Z06 go head to head against the Nissan GTR. It should be an amazing site. -Cheers fellas!
