Honestly, I have no interest in fishing. I found this short film on my DVR because it was slipped in after some movie I recorded on TCM. I noticed that it did not have an entry in the Internet Movie Database (IMDb), so I submitted it. I uploaded the short film as supporting evidence of it's existence, it's onscreen credits, and the fact that it played on TCM.

This film is from the RKO-Pathe Sportscope series of short films which featured lesser known sporting events and activities, and played in theatres before feature films. Back in the early days of TV (before ABC's Wide World of Sports came along), television didn't really show "minor sports"; thus, short films were used to show them to the general public.

Directed by Van Campen Heilner, who did a number of the Sportsscope shorts, this short features anglers Coot Hall and Harry A. Watkins, both fishing for striped bass, but in different locations and using different methods.
