mike tyson is more muscular than chuck liddell. chuck liddell has a body of an average guy. if he doesnt introduce himself as a fighter, people will think that hes just an average joe.

I met him (albeit briefly) when I lived in Vegas. I had been a fan of his for some time, but nowadays I can honestly regard him as a gorilla. A goon. He may throw dynamite punches, but there's a reason that he has palpable timidity in the face of tactitians like Jackson, and it's more than just his previous loss. Chuck faces a lot of obstacles when he punches it out with someone just as strong as he is who doesn't resort to gritty, improvised haymakers. Tough mother; overrated puncher.

If he's not powerful, why has no other person in the history of MMA had as many devestating KO's? It's not that people are biased. I used to be like, "Why the hell do people like this guy so much?" After looking into this dude's accomplishments and after seeing some of his KO's, it's clear that he has some of the best, if not the best, one-hit knockout power in the sport. There are some good fighters in MMA with some good hands and he sits among the top. In other words, he does hit very hard.

Okay dude, the fact of the matter is that physics doesn't allow for a world-class 138 pound striker to hit harder than a world-class 205 striker. Punching force = mass x velocity. Lee could maybe punch a little faster and could maybe put a little more body weight into a punch with better form but not enough to compensate for only having 65% the weight to throw into the punch. Sorry, it's just physics. And for this same reason, it is likely that Tyson and Foreman hit harder than Liddell.

Bruce Lee is dead, but he'll always be known. Tyson hits way harder than Chuck, and George Foreman probably hits harder as well. As far as Bruce Lee goes, he hit way harder than Chuck, and he only weighed about 138 pounds. Chuck has a hard hit, I admit it, but there are a good number of people who hit alot harder than I beleive Chuck ever will.
