yeah clawhammer's a picking style. its also called frailing. you strum down with the fingernail of your index or middle finger, as opposed to pulling up, as you do in scruggs style.

Hey Lads,(or lasses) Dont go off track. The question was , How is the Banjo Tuned?. When Charbs replied "Standard Tuning" I assumed he meant gDGBD if thats not correct he may tell us otherwise.

Why would you say that? Compared to other videos I have seen on here that is one of the most real ones I have seen that does not look or sound sped up. He is definitely playing! Banjer, if you think his hand is not moving that much, you need glasses! Also, if you watch the best players, they keep their hands very still and let the fingers do the work! Watch videos of Segovia playing guitar sometime.
