His chops are WAY to high. A ball like that would give the opponent an easy kill shot. He said that it would most likely go into the net when hit with a topspin swing. In reality, if you were to play in a real match, more often than not, your opponent would know how to read your spin and send it back without too much trouble.

Don't try and defend him, watch any pro and compare the times he DOES demonstrate a shot with theirs. Even compare this to the chop video by pingskills... i think you will notice it then.
