Then install 'Ultrasnow' from Cydia again. Finally shut off your Iphone and Put your Non-legit (T-mobile) sim in it and turn it back on, Wait for 2-3 minutes and finally you will see you T-mobile network on top left of Your Iphone 3gS.

    I was trying to unlock it through ICY but it didn't work for me but if it doesn't work for u either so jailbreak it again and check Cydia this time. You will be easily be able to unlock it then by adding Ultrasnow source in Cydia.

    Assalam aliqum brother, first please make sure That your Itunes is closed while Jailbreaking. Then try Redsnow. If it gets stuck , restore it again from Itunes and then Jailbreak it again. Change firmwares. You can use my firmware to Restore and Jailbreak. Or worst comes worst please use a different computer as this has worked for many users. Let me know.
