your lucky you got to live through it though! it seemed like a huge turing point in american history. a time where the young generations took charge for what they thought was right.. and rebelled. i feel like my generation is too hooked on cell phones and video games. its kind of embarassing. you're lucky you were there to witness it all. so feel happy!

Has probably been mentioned before, but........the director filmed this sequence in reverse. They drove up and down the road all day shooting many takes. The begining of the vid was toward the end of the day. Get a real feel in their eyes. As the song gets upbeat, that was filmed towards the begining of the day.....GOOSE BUMPS everytime!!!

This scene just makes me so sad. It's kind of like a symbol to me. When he's saying "The evening is over..." and all of that, to me it's like, that's it. Goodbye to everyone for the 60's and 70's. And then when everyone is singing on the bus, and when she says "You are home", it's just like - What a great ride it was, this was our life, and it will never be like that again :(.
