    One of our cats came home with a baby possum attached to her back! We nursed and cared for it and released her.
    Last week she came back!
    She has the same broken tail and scar inside one leg. We hadn't seen her since her release 4 months before. Fantastic!

    Good to know. SOunds a lot like squirrels do when they are upset. We had a opossum mom get stuck in a tree right next to our house and die. She slipped during a rain. I found her the day after. Babies all died in the storm. It was so very sad.
