    The American Bandstand audience always looked bored, probably cuz many of them were regulars on the show and also because everything was so contrived on it, such as the lip-synching and the staged interviews.

    I on the other hand get WAY excited at seeing clips like this, since music videos didm't exist on TV back then and I can see what the artists who made so many familiar songs looked like.
