    kk well im building a budget pc and i just picked this card up from compusa today and am looking to see what fps you guys got (And if it was smooth) At good settings on like HL2 based games and also the higher up there games such as fallout 3 or farcry 2

  • Well, with DX11 ...

    Well, with DX11 coming next year, I wouldn't recommend shelling out loads of cash for a video card.

    But even with DX11, the games will run very well on DX10 cards (As we can see with with DX9 cards today). And as this card can run every game up to date on the highest settings and costs about 150-170 Canadian, I say get it. Its probably the best card on the market today. High performance at a low price.

    Ok. This guy is under rating this card. OF FREAKING COURSE IT IS FINE TO PLAY HALF LIFE 2 ENGINE GAMES I have a computer with a old 7600gt and I can play them all on the highest settings, hell i'm sure a 5 or 6 series card would do so too.

    Oh, and the thing about Crysis not running at full on it... with this card, I can run Crysis all settings at very high, 2xAA, 1200x900 with no lag whatsoever. Not bad eh?
