Curt Catallo talks about the 1932 Ford Little Deuce Coupe his dad originally owned that appeared on the album cover of the Beach Boys Little Deuce Coupe. The summer of 2007 was the 75th anniversary of the 1932 Ford Deuce Coupe and the Curt Catallo car was part of the Rock Stars' Cars&Guitars exhibit at the Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn, MI. We visit on 7/26/07.

    This is such a COOL story! My best friend died at 59 5 yrs. ago and I acquired his Hot Rod subscription from '58 to '78 which included this car. Try picking up old "Hot Rod magazines". Best stories out there!

    According to the article in Autoweek (Aug 13, 2007), Clarence "Chili" Catallo built the car. After it appeared on the Beach Boys album cover, he sold it for $5,500. Toward the end of his life he managed to buy it back. The guy in the vid clip is Chili's son.
