he didn't make it melt, he had the spoons bent several times before to weaken them and the it would seem like he melted them...proof of that is that when they gave him their set of spoons in a show, cause they had realised the trick and wanted to disprove his claims, he couldn't bend them and he claimed that there was a lot of negative energy gathered that made his mind weaker and crap like that...
