Cast Net Instructions -CUBAN STYLE/ Team Old School

Sorry I did not reply, I just noticed your question, My "Old School" method is a very easy way to throw a smaller net. Cuban works also, but I like the O. S. method for any net under 10ft. Thanks for the GREAT comment-Mike

this is a good method.....I noticed the difference.......even thow I need more practice...my cast is almost perfect...

i cast basicly the same but the way i do it was taught to me in mexico, i through it over my shoulder like him but my ney is smaller and i can just through it in after that. i also skip messing with the rope

You Are the FLIPPING MAN! I'm going on a fishing trip and i might have to catch my on bait (depends on what's bitting) i have a small (6ft), what i like to call a "Just in Case" net and i haven't used in a LONG time but seeing you do this give me the confidence and throw that baby! Anyway would it be any different using a smaller lighter net?
