Poor old African greys. I remember when they flew around in wild pairs in my garden in the Congo and talked only to each other.

african grey parrots are considered the best talkers and the most intelligent birds.they learn very fast and memorize things very well they continue to say the things they have learned for a long long time, FYI. dont believe me? look it up. it's there. You obviously don't know what you are talking about, so if i were you, i simply wouldnt say anything.

most of them are, they are considered the calmest and quietest bird (meaning not screaming and squaking) and the best talkers.

I never said parrots can't talk. I've seen the videos with Alex the talking parrot, THAT african grey can actually have a conversation.
these are answers to questions which has obviously been rehearsed. and 1:53 proves it when the bird says it wrong and the girl has to repeat the question more sternly to get the right answer out of him
Parrot's are given ques on what to say, in this case it was given questions long before this show and was rehearsed continuously.

I own an African Grey and she is very smart also. I ask her questions and talk with her like a human. This is not a "scripted" act,they are amongst the smartest birds in the world.

Nah he doesn`t, `cause sometimes he makes a mistake.. it`s just like learning tricks to a dog he chooses the sound he`s got to make by listening to key words she says.=)
