This is the Torpedo Video Projector first on a screen painted silver and then on a white sheet so that you can see the difference.
DO NOT MAKE MY MISTAKE and use a brush to paint the screen. I put the black out cloth on the frame first and then tried to paint it with a roller and there wasn't enough resistance for the roller to get the paint onto the fabric, so I switched to a brush. MAJOR MISTAKE as you will see. There are major streaks on the screen. I'll have to take the fabric off the frame and either replace it or try repainting it with a SPONGE ROLLER.
I have an additional video about the screen that I made which is made of pvc pipe. Takes 2 ppl to put it together. It's light weight and portable or you could build a similar frame without the legs and just hang it on the wall. Not having a shop, working with wood was not feasible for us, so we chose to use pvc pipe.

I will definitly try making a screen :)
Really! Cool! We've also been discussing bulbs at another of my Torpedo reviews...someone told me about DC voltage halogen bulbs (used for class projectors for notes) but there may be a heat problem with these since they're 60 watts (heat damages LCD panels). The regular MR16 bulbs sold at Home Depot aren't NEAR bright enough!

See the VIDEO DETAILS for more information...I made the mistake of using a brush rather than a SPONGE ROLLER. This is causing "streaks" in the projected image. I'm going to have to either removing the cloth and repainting it on a flat surface using a sponge roller or starting over from scratch and paint it on a flat surface BEFORE I put the fabric in the frame.
