I'm 45 and going to get a left adrenal w/3cm pheo removed dec 23 08, so this is VERY interesting to me. Thanks very much for posting it. I'm really looking forward to getting rid of this thing, it's been trying to kill me for over a year (it's very active) and took a while to figure out. Education rules! Alpha blockers are awesome too.

I'm curious how leathermenace did with surgery? I will inquire about genetic test per sarahrochelle123 suggestion. thanks!

I am 28 I had a large pheo removed 3 years ago and have another one growing now. we discovered we have a gene mutation the SDHB. If you have a pheo,...you MUST get genetic testing! They can do it at NIH in Marlyland, It is vital for your family you get tested to see if it can affect others in your family. @ of my children have the gene. THey must be monitored.
