its called anti-lag, basically the car backfires on purpose to keep the turbo spooled up

car's sound comes from the backfiring system, or the mis-firing system, not sure whats on that, but it sure is hella loud!!

I know that its harder to get an AWD car sideways, especially one with a 50/50 distribution, and like I said, And YOU even said it yourself: This is rallying, a form of driving from which Drifting originated. The point is, you can get WAY better drifts out of a RWD car. Maybe you'd like to take this matter a little MORE seriously and school us on the entire history of drifting, A to Z dick.

ur a F**king retard... that car is owned by Fabien véricel and is 50-50 awd.. yes it is a form of drifting... fyi drifting originated from rallying because people in japan were huge fans of rally back some 4 decades or more and they had mountains so they used that to drift instead of gravel and tarmac. rwd is easiest setup to drifting in so it became more popular and looks sweeter. awd is harder and more technequie.

This is not drifting, this is tarmac rallying. This looks like his tires are glued to the road and he's struggling to get it loose. It's proper to do with a RWD car, or at least an AWD car with a 20/80 or more power and torque distribution between the front and rear axles.
