Nice video. For chain lubrication I have been using a Scottoiler (realtime chain lube device - easy to fit) for many years. The claims made on their web site are correct. Very low maintenance and very long chain life.

by doing this how long does it prolong the chain for

Gasoline has solvents that damage the o-rings in your chain, kerosene is really the best option.

to clean can u use gasoline ????is using gasoline bad ?

cool vid i have a cbr600 myself but when i wax i only wax the inside of the chain because when you ride the wax will push through and not fly off !!!!

I don't know man, someone sent me a bunch of songs one time and i just dropped them all into a folder. They seemed to fit the mood well for background music. It's either Particle or Tycho

I try to do a thorough clean every 1k miles and i do a quick wipe down with chain wax every 500 miles.

How often do you do this?

If you want to give it a nice clean you might want to look at loosening your rear wheel and dipping the chain in some kerosene for several hours, just keep spinning the chain every now and then. The chain will come out brand new, then you just have to wax it. It's more time consuming but a very thorough clean.

thanks for the video, I got a ducati 900 and Im a noob when It comes to bikes my chain is pretty sloppy right now, its making a mess and could use a good cleaning

I never go out on the road without a helmet/jacket/boots. This is not a safety video, I'm not going to get into full gear to warm up a chain. Safety is always good, let's not go crazy here. Thanks for the input though.

Take a short ride to warm up the chain... without any protective gear. lol
