So Zack was killed off because he didn't have a 'sky-high midichlorian count' like say Cloud?! So they have him eliminated just because he's expendable? That seems lame.

I just finished the game... I was already crying when I was fighting against the Shinra troops because I knew what was coming... and I totally bursted in tears watching this part... At the beginning I wasn't sure about playing it because I didn't know much about Zack and just wanted Cloud... but I came to totally love this character! So sad such a wonderful character had to die... :'(

ur right...when square merged with enix or watever it is that they did, they made cloud into the character he was really made out to be...back when it was just squaresoft, cloud was alot more rugged...i remember a part in the original ff7 (1st disc) where ur in wall market and u can walk into a restaurant and he's like..."i've had better dogfood" LOL...the cloud of today wuld say something a bit more prissy and weak =P
