Bruce Lee - The Green Hornet - Kato Fight Scene

My father was good friends with Mako. He was a great actor and a good friend.

the green hornet is kind of a green dork.

In Japan, this show was retitled "The Kato Show". There was also a Green Hornet/Batman crossover where there was much debate over whether Robin should be allowed to defeat Kato, the latter clearly the more skilled martial artist, as the episode was being written. In the end, the writers agreed on the fight between the characters ending in a tie.

I am sure that all of you Green Hornet fans know that he is related to the Lone Ranger. I think , if Im not mistaken, that the Green Hornets Grandfather, Dan Reid, is the nephew of The Lone Ranger.

Friend once told me that he thought Steven Segal was much faster than Bruce Lee, I said they both coordinated their own fighting scenes,just look at the way the both of them fight, you will see that Lee was faster, when he did what I asked, he later agreed Lee was infact faster.

Bruce couldn't play the lead role because The Green Hornet is not asian,he's american and Kato is asian.

There's some really interesting elements to the choreography here. Bruce Lee hadn't quite refined Jeet Kune Do yet, and the mix of traditional ideas with some of his own concepts is interesting to watch. I find that watching the development of great people is as interesting as when they are at their zenith.
I also enjoyed the samurai style pause before Mako's character's death..very stylish.

bruce didnt care if it was racist . he knew he was different, he got a big role is a hugly watched tv show, he was in several movies, he was training americans how to fight. he was in hollywood for a while and made dank bucks. he accomplished alot for an asian in the 60s and 70s. he was rich and happy
