Incredible. But why is this news so low key? Is the American public distracted on something else and not realized that they made history? Then again, because it's probably that it's a Corporate Private achievement, and not a national thing.

A huge congratulations to all Spacex employees. Aviation came as far as it did due to visionaries Like Elon and his team. If space is ever going to truely develop it will take the dedication of people like you. Unfortunately there are way too many people that do not recognize how important this work is to mankinds future existance. I am a pilot flying cargo jets but wish I could be contributing to your efforts. Keep at it for all of us who wish we could.....Thanks all !!

We make a lot out of the fact that they did this all internally, and with private funding. But we should not overlook the fact that they have benefited from an enormous amount if information resulting from decades of NASA launch development. SpaceX is carrying a torch that was lighted by the efforts of the many scientist and engineers who came before them.

This was a long road for SpaceX but there is much more to come. SpaceX is going to blow everyone else right out of the water!! I am very proud of my husband for all the time and hard work he has put in. I love you babe
