Well, to be honest, it does have a Merlin RR 12 cylinder...and I agree the sound is awsome. Shame on me.

No. But, the whole installation - if you are using the entire global scenery - is much bigger (around 80 Gig) but you dont have to install the whole world if you dont intend to fly in the taklamahan desert or whatever.. The actual system requirements are much less than for FSX. You will get A LOT! more Frames in X-Plane, compared to FSX on the same machine. The requirement are a little more than half of what FSX needs...

and take it easy on the brakes because hard breaking action will tip the plane over on the prop. Also be really careful to recognise any tendency to break to either side and counter steer it away quickly. taildraggers have the habbit of trying to overtake the mainwheel with the tailwheel...because the center of gravity is aft of the maingear.

shure. there is two basic ways - Long Runway: You make a fast landing on the main wheels, as seen in the vid. Short field: You make a threepoint landing with all wheels touching the ground at the same time and stalling just before they do so. If You come in fast make shure the tail doesnt drop, because that will cause the plane to rise again and bounce...

most definetely YES!. And You cant really compare the sims, because X-Plane has so many features that FSX doesnt have. Sloped runways that follow the terrain strukture, water refections that are just unbelievable...and and and to many to mention but MOST IMPORTANT!. The Flightmodel it is so much better. X-Planes spin and slip and behave very close to their realworld counterparts. You have to try it to believe it.

it is original speed, the sensation of speed comes from flying very close to the surface..for the sound: pick the soundtrack that you like :)

It looks so much faster than flight sim x. Is the video speeded up, is that why there is no sound

thanks guys, I am using the Pro Flight Range from Saitek. Two different systems one with Yoke, Throttle and Pedals. And another with a Stick, Throttle and Pedals. They perform very well and precisely.

You seem to be a really good pilot! What joystick do you use btw?
