someone told me that after youve been in the military you are not allowed to join the police because u are trained to kill rather then arrest people. is that true? (anyone)

Good point actually. but the stuff in the series isn't top secret; the bodyguard tactics will be common knowledge amongst police forces. Displaying the tactics tailor made for each threat also acts as a deterrent using the myth of invincibility as a pyscological weapon

They can be given assignments for security. I know a bloke that did security for John Major when he visited Bosnia.

I never knew the SAS did personal security detail. I always thought that was what they did after they retired from active service
