Paper Swan - 3D Origami

As you can see in my video above, I also made a swan. Can you tell me the numbers for each ring you used?

I say the building is the most fun of making it.

The small pieces, however, take forever...

It was a long day, mainly because of the 1000+ small pieces of paper to fold. The building itself was not a big job.

that's so awesome it's scary..in a good way.

How long did it take you?

Now thats a model worth the cost of the tree! And I can say that! I own and run a group of over 2000 members of a Paper Modeling Group!

woa..my mom has a swan that looks almost like that...she got it as a present..its really old and fell apart a few months ago. Great Job!

The last first, I used 1/12 of an A4, divided the page in 3 in height and in 4 in width - the height does not realy need to be accurate.


I had to count, but the base of the wing is 15 pieces. The trick starts above that! The wings are mirror images but not symetric, The base of the neck is 4 pieces

oh just 1 more did u used 1/32 of an A4 paper or 1/16 ?

I have made with 30 and 40 in the base ring. Yours is excelent i think and i have some question about it.
With how many layers did you made the wings, and how much triangles are in the wing first layer/ring (above the 11th ring).
