It seems many users are having this same screen problem with their HP Pavilion zd8000 notebooks. HP refuses to acknowledge that it's their problem, and they want us to pay for a repair or upgrade to a newer HP notebook.

This computer lasted two and a half years.

    Mine burned the motherboard, and it will cost about 800$ to repair!! And the laptop costed about 2400$ from new.
