This is a scene from the movie The Bodyguard
Yes but Shaolin Kung Fu is ALOT more disaplined than Muay Thai. Just youtube some of the training techniques.
Jaa proberbly is one of most recognised Muay Thai figures globally due to the sucess of his films and he is esxtreamly hard.
but personally in a 1 on 1 fight, Li technique would desomate Jaa
Coolies, thanks for clarifying! A lot of people never really explain why, other than that Li and them are cool or what not. Which they are, but, you know...that ain't a very good explanation. -_-; I get where you're coming from now, which is cool. Although Jaa isn't really in it purely as a performer, I still think that based on technicality of their respective martial art, they would be close, if not equal in skill. Hence why I do not believe either one is better than the other.

Li is a WORLD CLASS level. It's like comparing someone from the WWE to an Olympic wrestler such as Angle.
But how do you know that Jaa was trained without the Muy Thai Philosophy? Most martial arts have a philosophy/way of life. Once you reach a certain point of achievement, you reach a higher form/understanding of that philosophy. Just because Jaa started with an ambition that wasn't like Li's, it doesn't mean that he doesn't respect the art or uses it purely for showmanship. Because both Jaa and Li are masters at their art, why would they be on different levels?
By Yusio [Affiliate User] 1213066523 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveHe is no way as good a fighter as Li. Li has been world champion in many differnt styles. And was brought up with Kung Fu as a way of life. Jaa trained in Acrobatics and Muay Thai with the ambition of becoming a film star. Dont get me wrong he is amazing, but alot of it is just for showmanship.
But Li is on another level, shame he gets cast into bad hollywood movies

I remember a time where I could actually go on Youtube without stumbling upon dumbasses that will actually ask a question, when the answer is IN THE F**kING INFO. You'de actually spend time asking the question, waiting, then coming back to find out the answer instead of READING THE F**kING VIDEO INFO/TITLE!
