Modeling a Head in Autodesk Maya

Omfg, i am using Autodesk Maya 2008 and i don't have "Edit Mesh" Button ='(

With the insert edge loop tool and split poly edge tool or something likt that, they're found in the edit mesh menu.

but how you add new blue-green lines, which you transform ?

U hafta watch the learning movies in the popup when u start maya and check out the tutorials (help->tutorials). Press w to move, e to rotate and r to scale. U'll figure it out.

Hi, I am new on maya ( downloaded 1 day ago) and i ws wondering what is that tool that allows you to modify just a little cube like this inot something big and more detailed ? I would be thankful ! ( Just the tool that stretches and does sutff like that...)

after you click download at the site it should come up with another page on that page it will say mac:----------(numbers) windows:------------

iv just downloaded the autodesk maya learning edition but in the installation it asks for a software key which was never emailed to me. i click register and there are no clear instructions on where to register. can you help, or have i just confused you? lol
