    The base car is made my Subaru, but you can't go to a Subaru dealer and buy a Type 25 Spec-c. It's the same as a Brabus Mercedes or Gemballa Porsche 911 (which I own). The top Mercedes models are AMG, but you can get a Brabus which is even higher-end, you just can't buy one at Mercedes, nor is it built by Benz. Same with my Porsche, it began life as a 2007 911 Turbo, but now it's an entirely new creation with tons of gear that Porsche doesn't sell, make, or install. Capisce?

    I think you're missing the point. A third party modified this STi with aftermarket parts. I think it would have cost quite a bit to have Brembo develop 6pot brakes, when the exact same set has a different manufacturer on them.

    Should the exhaust not say 'Prodrive' if it's on a Subaru?
