What is Mawlid?
- Mawlid is a time where Muslims (not wahhabis) rejoice in commemorating the birth of best of mankind, and talk about the mercies of Allah for sending Prophet Muhammad.
What happens in mawlid?
- Recite Qur'an.
- Praise Allah, and the Prophet and not exaggerate
- Teach the people about his life.
- Feed the people, rich and poor
Did the Prophet do it?
- He did not say don't do it! Rather he fasted Monday and said:"That's a day on which I was born"
What's the Proof that we can celebrate Mawlid?
- Allah said: ورفعنا لك ذكرك
- The Prophet fasted Ashura' and said "Allah saved Musa that day" and fasted Monday and said: "That's the day I was born"
- The Prophet said: "The one who innovates a good innovation in Islam has its reward and a reward similar to those who follow him in it"
- All Muslims celebrate Mawlid which was first made by al-Mudhaffar Hakim Irbil who was a great generous Muslim leader.
Other Proofs that Mawlid is good:
- Scholars approved and said it was good such as Ibn Hajar and Suyutiy and others.
- Contents in Mawlid comply with the Qur'an and Religion
- Mawlid is about reciting Qur'an, dhiker, teachcing about the Prophet, saying salat and salam on the Prophet which has great rewards!!
- During the Caliphate of ^Umar Ibnul Khattab, ^Umar initiated the gathering of people in Ramadan to pray Tarawih Prayer in congregation and said: "What a good bid^ah (innovation) that is!"
800 Million Muslims Celebrate the Birth of Prophet Muhammad and they are 100% righteous. Only Wahhabis who attribute to Allah non befitting attributes such as sitting and moving and bodily parts, and whom attribute to the Prophet non befitting merits such as claiming that he sits with Allah on the throne, or that he is dead and not beneficial, and that calling his name as "Ya Muhammad' is considered to them as shirk and that visiting his grave is a great sin!! those wahhabis oppose true Sunnis because all Muslims believe that Allah exists without, he is not a body, and is clear from bodily attributes and that Prophet Muhammad is a human being, but benefits his Ummah by the will of Allah. Prophet Adam asked Allah by the status of Prophet Muhammad, and so Allah forgave him by Prophet Muhammad who is the wasilah to Allah. Allah forgave Adam, and Muhammad was a reason for the benefit.

What about the sunnah of Khubayb of praying 2 rak^ah before being killed? or the good bid^ah of Yahya bin Ya^mur who was a tabi^iy by adding dots to the letters in al-Qur'an?
Learn what bid^ah means first before you follow wahhabis (so called salafis) blindly! See my vids to discover who wahhabis are !!
Praying tarawih in congregation is NOT a "bid'ah" in ibadah tauqifiyyah. During the time of the Prophet (may the blessings of ALLAH and peace be with him), he did pray tarawih in congregation too, but not the whole of Ramadhan for fear that it might be made compulsory. So all Umar (may ALLAH be pleased with him) did was to revive a Sunnah. Further, you obviously have never heard about the Sunnah of the Rightly Guided Caliphs, of which Umar was one, which Muslims are commanded to follow.

Prophet Muhammad ordered us to believe in Jesus, as a holy messenger sent from God (Allah). Because it's blasphemy to worship anything or anyone other than Allah, the only creator. So what the hindus, Buddhists, christians do in worshiping the creations is disbelief and they must correct their belief to be safe from hellfire.

How could one say that Mawlid is forbidden or an unlawful act? only the deviant wahhabis say that. They claim that it's a bad innovation and that it's like Christmas?? how so? the Christians worshiped Jesus, Muslims they love Prophet Muhammad as a slave of Allah and the best of the creations!
Mawlid is thanking Allah for sending Prophet Muhammad, and it's also a great even to teach people about the life of the Prophet, then praising him (naat) then feeding the poor, that's called a good Bid^ah.
True. For more proofs see alsunna.*org/mawlid.htm

That's a proof to refute wahhabis that Bid^ah is 2 types, a good bid^ah like mawlid and such, and a bad bid^ah like the bid^ah of ibn taymiah who claimed that the world is eternal and that hellfire terminates! that is kufur.

Then on another night I went again in his company and the people were praying behind their reciter. On that, 'Umar remarked, 'What an excellent Bid'a (i.e. innovation in religion) this is...
this is one type of good biddah this is called biddah al hasana
Sahih Bukhari Volume 3, Book 32, Number 227:
'Abdur Rahman bin 'Abd ul-Qariy said, "I went out in the company of 'Umar bin Al-Khattab one night in Ramadan to the mosque and found the people praying in different groups. A man praying alone or a man praying with a little group behind him. So, 'Umar said, 'In my opinion I would better collect these (people) under the leadership of one Qari (Reciter) (i.e. let them pray in congregation!)'.
