Various Gun Cam footage from World War 2 period of 190's and 110's in action. I added some cool music and photos to give the video more depth and meaning. May we never forget all the pilots that fought and died on all sides.

    What band/song is it?
    Who did the music?

It was during the ww2 that it was real war, modern war is only a push at a button. Those guys are heroes. It was real dogfights with real planes and not flying computers like today. Am i the only one that wants to go back in time when i watch thi movie and fight in the war?

Awsome music and the video gives me chills up the spine it makes you realize what the brave bomber crews were up against trying to get through to their targets there will never again be air battles like these in the sky, may the brave live forever in the halls of Valhalla.

  • I agree ...

I agree virginioferrari, no doubting the bravery of either sides young men. But, as the saying goes, don't start something you can't finish. As Sir Arther Harris said, 'they sowed the wind and now they shall reap the whirlwind'. War is not good at all, maybe it would be best not to provoke them to start with.

  • I had an older ...

I had an older cousin that was assigned to a B17 as a tail gunner. He never came back from the war. Somewhere over Germany his plane was shot down. When I see clips like these I wonder if he was in one of those planes being shot down. He was only 19, war S**ks .

"Didn't do quite as well once the P51's went all the way in and out with the B17's though, eh?"

Maybe they did very well, some poor hundred (when in numbers.....)against 1000 bombers and 500 fighters per day (and per night...), run by allied crews that could count upon rotational shifts and upon maintanance....

    Bravi ragazzi della LFTW. Grazie.

  • I couldn´t agree ...

I couldn´t agree with you more, because while American, English, and German piots were trained to go up fight, come back refuel, rearm, and go back up, the Soviets told their pilots go up, and bring down as many of the enemy as you can, amo or no amo.

  • Didn't do quite as ...

Didn't do quite as well once the P51's went all the way in and out with the B17's though, eh? Once Goring saw red-nosed Mustangs over Berlin, he knew the Germans had lost the war.

  • You'll find that ...

You'll find that all of the pilots who were defending against the American bombers had a relatively low 'score'. The high scores were made on the Russian front. IIRC Josef Priller was the highest scoring western-front Luftwaffe pilot and he survived the war with just over 100.
