If anyone had said "black power" or "white power" in any UK or USA TV network, they would be kicked off the show and would go through a week of public humiliation from the local press being branded a "racist".

I fully understand where Seal is coming from, that lady probably meant well, but, in English speaking countries "white power" and "black power" are only used by those with extreme right wing views. That term is used by Black Panthers or Louis Farakan's Nation of Islam.
