of course they used winter tires. Actually BY LAW you have to use winter tires in Finland(where this was shot) from the first of december to last day of february. So if they drove the car to kaipola, it had to have atleast nordic winter tyres.

Audi drove up the ramp on its own accord, however various tire combinations were used to aid the car in its efforts. At the end they ended up using studed winter tires to give the car added traction.

Correct. They have done it before with earlier Quattro's. The line on the car is just for safety(which is a good thing considering its quite a drop off the end of that slope!) incase it slips back. You cant advertise something like that if it didnt actually do it.

This is impossible. There is a wrench cable pulling the car up. Shame for Audi
