Homophobes are mostly uneducated, shame based people who have huge issues and insecurities around their OWN sexuality. They cope with it by projecting their rage onto others that they percieve as weaker than themselves (like gays and women. It's the same dynamic as the school yard bully) Homophobes are really a sad and pathetic bunch. They should really be looked at with pity; much like any group of maladjusted folks...

People who abuse children are PEDOPHILES not GAY. Overwhelmingly; most pedophiles victimize young girls; but many don't care about the sex of the child because it's the sensation of POWER that motivates them. Since the majority of victims are young girls, should we look down on ALL heterosexuals as child abusers or just the homosexuals?

I deleted all the homophobic comments, but your comment sounds reasonable, unlike other angry homophobs. All I wanna say is try to be more tolerant. Everybody on earth has the right to love and to be loved, even the gay ones. Homosexuals really have great pressure from the society and their families, and that makes their life not very easy. I'm not asking you to accept them or something, but at least please do not make their life harder by hating them.

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion. It's OK to feel uncomfortable about homosexuals. However, you should still respect people for who they are regardless of their sexuality. Don't say horrible things when you KNOW you're going to hurt them. They're human too.

What a sad comment this was - "I would beat the Gay out of him." Is there any hope of your enlightenment and acceptance of people for they are? Even if this was a joke, it's just sad and it shows that no matter how accomplished a person can be, fear and ignorance is still all around us.
